La Ferme du Beau, Chaillac, Indre
We are a small diversified farm in the exceptional woodlands and pastures ("bocage") of southern Berry, in the Brenne Regional Natural Park. Inspired by the principles of permaculture since the farm's creation in 2015, our Hampshire Down sheep produce beautiful wool in addition to high quality meat. WoolWe raise Hampshire Down sheep, and have a wide range of spun yarn as well as carded wool for spinning, felting and stuffing. In its natural cream colour, and naturally-dyed too! We also work with small businesses to offer you pure wool fabric, clothing and homeware, mattresses, pillows, duvets, insoles and more. All to be discovered in our online shop and upon appointment in person! |
TreesSince 2017 we've planted several hundred trees including local heritage varieties. Our first major harvest in 2024 means we will soon have a simply superb apple juice available! |
MeatWe hope to work with a local butcher in the coming months, to offer you delicious and hard-to-find mutton and hogget. Contact us if you would like to be the first to know! |
